Top News and Magazine Apps on Android in Poland: Q3 2025

In the third quarter of 2025, the performance of leading news and magazine apps on the Android platform in Poland showed varied trends in downloads, active users, and revenue, according to Sensor Tower data.

X exhibited a notable increase in weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $11.9K in early August. The app's weekly downloads also saw a significant rise, reaching a high of 21.5K in September. Active users fluctuated, with a peak of over 1.8M in September, before settling at around 1.5M by the end of the quarter.

Opera News: breaking & local experienced a decline in weekly downloads, starting from 4.4K in early July to just over 300 by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, decreasing from over 52K to about 12K.

Upday | Local & World News saw its downloads drop significantly from 13K at the start of the quarter to under 100 by the end. However, active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 8K throughout the quarter.

Substack maintained a steady number of active users, around 4K, with downloads peaking at 4.3K in early August. The app's user engagement seemed consistent despite lower download numbers towards the quarter's end.

Local Weather News - Radar reported a sharp spike in downloads, reaching 3.1K in early September. Active users also increased, peaking at nearly 4K in the same period, before stabilizing at around 1.6K.
